(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam business has donated $45-hundred-dollars to the Patriot Tour. The Nation of Patriots, which is based out of Wisconsin, raises money for veterans by taking a solitary American flag through all 50 states via city-to-city motorcycle relay. The funds donated by Countryside Chevrolet Buick GMC represent a portion of car sales during August. It now brings the total amount donated to the non-profit by the dealership since 2012 to more than $45,000. Countryside Auto Group Owner Keith Ghanian says they believe that helping our nation’s veterans is a worthy cause and one that our nation does not do enough for. He says they are privileged to be in the position to help make an impact and they would like to continue to support the Nation of Patriots for years to come. Patriot Tour’s Founder and Executive Director Bill Sherer says they are grateful for the continued support they receive from Countryside and its customers. He says they are also very proud of the partnership they have built that has now served to help several veterans obtain much-needed transportation so they can get to work, get to the VA for treatments and have the means to go shopping for food, clothing, and other basic necessities. More than $1.5-million-dollars has been raised through this grassroots effort since the Nation of Patriots’ inception in 2009.
