The Beaver Dam High School girls cross country team was 6th and the boys were 8th at the Badger Large Conference Meet at Baraboo on Saturday. Beaver Dam sophomore Claire Bates finished 14th in the girls race in a time of 21:27 to earn 2nd team all-conference honors. Nate Smith was the top boys finisher in 31st place at 18:42. The Sectional Meet is next Saturday in Manitowoc.
