Beaver Dam COVID Community Testing Site To Close

(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam’s free COVID community testing site will be ceasing operations this weekend. The Dodge County Health Department says the test site, located at 1701 North Spring Street, will close its doors after this Saturday, July 16th.

They say the site has been operated by Curative with support from their department and Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday since early 2022. The county health department says the decision to close the community test site was made as there has been a steady decline in testing needs.

Local availability of COVID testing is readily obtainable at area Hometown Pharmacies and Walgreens. Health officials say it continues to be important to get tested if you are unvaccinated or vaccinated and have symptoms of the virus.

For more information about how to schedule an appointment for testing at an area Hometown Pharmacy or Walgreens, refer to the pharmacies’ webpages, give the local pharmacy a phone call, or refer to the Community Test Site map at the WI DHS website for more details. Click HERE to visit the website.
