Beaver Dam Community Library Highlight Recent Donations To Fundraising Campaign

(Beaver Dam) Officials with the Beaver Dam Community Library say the fundraising campaign for their Next Chapter renovation is going strong. The library recently received a $5,000 donation from Dr. David and Andrea Utrie in memory of their son, Benjamin.

Two separate $500 donations were made by Judith Sell and Judith Hein in honor of all the Beaver Dam past, present, and future readers.

Library officials say their $40 for 40 Years social media day of giving on September 26 brought in $290 in cash. That news comes with the report of online donations to the Library Fund through the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundationโ€™s portal anticipated to be available late October or early November. The $40 for 40 Years event was specifically to support the technology area, and will include a gift from Inter-Quest in support of the $10,000 goal.

Library Administrator Sarah Cournoyer says the support and encouragement they have received is appreciated. Renovation goals for the library include improved building accessibility with a relocated entrance from the parking lot, added learning spaces, future flexibility, community and study rooms, and expanded services and programs.
