Beaver Dam Common Council President Resigns

(BEAVER DAM) A long-time member of the Beaver Dam Common Council is stepping down. City officials confirm to Daily Dodge that Council President Ken Anderson resigned in a brief email Tuesday, making his resignation official that same afternoon. Anderson declined to tell Daily Dodge why heโ€™s leaving City Hall, only to say itโ€™s for personal reasons.

Anderson represented District 6 on the cityโ€™s southeast side since 2016. He served as president since April. In his time as alder, he also served on the Administrative and Operations committees. Anderson is 45 years old. He told Daily Dodge he works in information technology for a Madison-based business.
