(Beaver Dam) A top city of Beaver Dam employee is leaving the job. Administrator Nathan Thiel has announced that he is resigning from the role. In his resignation letter, Thiel writes that he is committed to assisting with a smooth transition and offers – if the council desires – to serve for a longer duration until a replacement candidate has been secured.
Thiel also expressed his thanks to all those who have supported this first-time city administrator position. He adds that a lot of good things were done, and it has been a privilege to work with a committed staff.
Thiel says Beaver Dam has become his family’s home and they look forward to remaining active members in the community. His last day is currently set for June 6th. Daily Dodge reached out to Thiel for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
