(BEAVER DAM) A Beaver Dam based nonprofit recently received grant funds for supporting older adults. The chartable arm of the Visiting Angels awarded Church Health Services a $5,000 grant for their work improving the health and well-being of older adults in the community.
Owner of Visiting Angels Beaver Dam Matthew Thompson nominated the organization. He says he has worked closely with Church Health Services for 10 years and can testify to the positive impact they have on the community.
Church Health Services helps thousands of underserved and uninsured older adults receive essential care annually, including dental, mental health services, and other medical consultations.
This year, the Visiting Angels Foundation awarded nearly $70,000 in funding to 16 nonprofit organizations across the country. The funds support a wide range of programs that improve the lives of seniors nationwide.
