Beaver Dam Area 5th Annual PrideFest Saturday

BEAVER DAM – Beaver Dam Area Pride is hosting its 5th Annual PrideFest Saturday, June 27, with family-friendly activities, community events, live music, and evening entertainment planned in Beaver Dam.

The main PrideFest celebration runs from 1PM to 5PM in the 300 block of South Spring Street near Ooga Brewing Company. According to Beaver Dam Area Pride, the event kicks off at 1PM at the DJ booth, with vendors and food available throughout the afternoon.

The schedule includes a 50/50 raffle beginning at 1PM, with winners announced at 3:30PM. From 1PM to 4PM, the event will feature music by Total Sound Entertainment, face painting by Bones In Jars, Dizzy Deeโ€™s Balloon Twisting, and inflatable races. Drag queen storytime with Andi Domino is scheduled for 2PM and 3PM. Scholarship winners are scheduled to be announced at the DJ booth at 2:45PM.

Rural Route 3 is scheduled to perform live at Ooga Brewing Company at 4PM. The event poster also lists The Elwood Lee Show at Ooga at 7PM.

The celebration continues with an adults-only after-PrideFest drag show at Chapel of the Archangels. Beaver Dam Area Pride says the show is scheduled for 8PM, with doors opening at 7PM and advance tickets available.

A Friday night drag bingo event is also listed for 7PM at Riverfront Bar in downtown Beaver Dam, according to the event poster.

Beaver Dam Area Pride says its mission is to help the Beaver Dam area move toward embracing diversity and equity every day. The organization is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
