(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Unified School District is still accepting nominations for the 2024 Wall of Fame Awards. Honors are given in two categories: Friends of Education and Outstanding Alumni. Friends of Education are individuals or organizations who have given distinguished service to the district and its students. There have been two recent recipients.
Playground Movement – Beaver Dam was created to provide support and resources for neighborhood children and families as well as a place for children to gather and play.
The other recipient of Friends of Education was Dr. Alan Ehrhardt who was a member of the Board of Education from 1993 to 1999.
Outstanding Alumni are graduates of the high school recognized for exceptional accomplishments, outstanding leadership, historical significance, and prominence on the local, state, national or international stage.
Nomination packets are available at the Education Service Center 400 East Burnett Street and on the district website, click HERE to visit the site. Packets are due back by close of business on March 14th.
Award plaques will be permanently displayed on the high school’s Wall Of Fame in the common’s area.
