Beaver Dam High School freshman McKenna Nelson was one of two junior golfers who won a spot to represent the Badger State at the Annual Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals hosted by the PGA of America. Nelson and Taytum Oswald (Beloit) earned first place finishes in their age groups during the National Finals Qualifer at TPC Deer Run (Silvis, IL). The competition will be hosted on Sunday, April 7th at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. It features 80 junior golfers from throughout the United State, one Canadian province and Australia. The Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel as part of Masters Week coverage.
