(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Common Council approved a resolution to appropriate a donation to the city’s police department. Reed Chrysler-Dodge Jeep Ram has donated $2,500. The funds will be used to replace first aid kits in squad cars. Mayor Becky Glewen thanked the business for supporting local law enforcement.
“Please say a thank you when you stop at Reed Chrysler…they do a lot for our community and certainly a lot for our police department,” said Glewen.
The Beaver Dam Police Department has also received a donation of $5,000 from Napleton Chevrolet Buick GMC. The agency says donations like these allow them to purchase equipment that is not in the budget and therefore not funded by city property taxes.
