(Beaver Dam) Several Beaver Dam High School students will be going to a prestigious science camp this summer. Tyler Winkel, Owen Hemling, Scarlet Fister, Mia Nortman, and Isabel Bedker will be attending the Morgridge Science Camp.
This is the first time that students from the Beaver Dam School District have been selected to attend.
From July 28th through August 1st, these students will get hands-on experience working with live cells, exploring stem cell differentiation, and diving into tissue engineering alongside leading scientists, grad students, and researchers.
They will also be able to tour research labs, learn about bioethics and epigenetics, as well as present their science research at a closing reception.
