2022 Beaver Dam High School grad Gracie Halfman was the hero of the Edgewood College softball team’s 4-3 win over Marian University on Sunday afternoon. The freshman centerfielder blasted the game winning solo home run over the centerfield wall in the bottom of the 7th for the win. The Eagles and Sabres split Sunday’s doubleheader.
In 29 games this season, Halfman is hitting .319 with two doubles, a home run and seven RBI.
Edgewood is 15-16 overall and 5-10 in NACC play. The Eagles are off until Saturday when they host St. Norbert for a 12pm doubleheader.
