BDHS Girls Bowling Team Gears Up For State Tournament

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam High School Girls Bowling coach credits the team’s dedication and determination for getting them into the post season. The squad clinched a trip to state last weekend at their home tournament. Coach Calista Janusz says the team’s focus now is on preparation.

“As we move out of district tournaments we’ll start doing two practices a week,” Janusz says, “and we’ll be more determined to work on the little things as in our corner pins, as in working on modified house shots, even harder oil patterns.”

Beaver Dam had competed at state in Division Two in previous years, but this year will be their first time in Division One. The State Tournament kicks off March 3 in Wausau. The team has their final regular meet today.
