The Beaver Dam High School baseball team won their regular season finale 5-1 over Sun Prairie West at the BDHS Diamond on Friday night. Jeff Freund went 2×3 with a home run and triple. He drove in a run and scored a run. He also struck out seven and gave up just one hit and one run in six innings of work to pick up the win. Jerek Westover also went 2×2 with a double and 2 RBI for BDHS.
The Golden Beavers wrap up their regular season at 17-6. They will host Sheboygan North on Tuesday night in a WIAA Division One Regional Semifinal. The first pitch is set for 7pm on 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam and DailyDodge TV.
