(Horicon) The Horicon School district was recently gifted a generous donation towards the schools proposed Athletic Complex. Recently the Beaver Dam Community Hospital Foundation donated $10,000 to the Horicon Athletic Complex. The vision of the project includes a football field inside of an eight lane track with hillside bleachers. It would also feature a combination concession stand, press box, and restroom facility within a terraced plaza overlooking the stadium area. Total cost for the project is slated for $3.4 million with a synthetic turf field or $2.8 million for grass. Latest numbers online show the project has garnered just over $2.5 million thus far.
