(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre’s Tell-A-Tale production for grades six through eight will be putting on “Goosebumps the Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium” beginning Thursday night, July 20th. The musical is based on the book by R.L. Stein of the same name. Audrey Soldner who plays Brooke Rogers and Mae Armstrong, who plays Anna, discuss the scariest scenes.
“I think the part where Dylan [Carnine] screams honestly,” says Soldner. “That’s terrifying. That’s scary.”
“I think one of the scenes, the blackout scene, I, like if that ever happened in real life, I’d be like ‘I’m outta here, I’m done.’”
The other scenes that would also be scary to Armstrong include any trapdoor scenes. She adds why people should come see the show.
“It has very spooky parts of it, which is very fun, to like rehearse,” says Armstrong. “And parts where it’s just like, I don’t know how to word it, eerie, yeah. It has a good plot line, too. It’s very good and it’s a fun show.”
The Beaver Dam Area Theatre’s Tell-A-Tale production will be hitting the stage beginning tomorrow night through July 22nd. All shows are at the Kamps Auditorium at 7pm.
Tickets are $5 for youth and $10 for adults. They can be purchased on the theatre’s website HERE, or in person at the box office, which is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 4pm.
