(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre will have two plays this summer featuring area youth. There are two age groups that make up Tell-A-Tale: students currently in grades three through five and students currently in grades six through eight. The older troupe will have auditions this weekend for the musical “Giants in the Sky,” which will see performances starting on July 21st. The younger kids will have auditions the following weekend, May 22nd and 23rd, for “The Most Epic Birthday Party” which will be on the stage starting July 7th. The theatre’s Becky Kikkert tells DailyDodge that the plays will be rehearsed and performed in-person with social distancing and other protocols in place for actors and the audience. Rehearsals begin the week of June 7th. Auditions are at the community theatre’s Fine Arts Center on West Maple Avenue and can be scheduled at bdact.org.
