(BEAVER DAM) The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation is holding its fourth annual community social next month. The event will take place at Beaver Dam’s Ooga Brewing located on 301 South Spring Street from 1pm to 7pm on September 20th.
The Foundation’s Vice President Patrick Lutz says the atmosphere will be fun, relaxed, and focused on the positive happenings in the area.
“We’re just inviting the whole community to come out…just stop by for 10 minutes…a half-an-hour,” says Lutz. “There’s going to be $1 from every pour [going to the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation]…so, we have to thank Ooga for that a lot.”
The Foundation has set a goal to raise $6,000 to benefit the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation Fund. That fund supports annual grant cycles that address critical needs in the Dodge County area. In the spring, the organization awarded over $47-thousand-dollars to 37 local nonprofits.
