(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation is hosting their second annual community social this weekend. The event will be held at Ooga Brewing Company on Saturday, September 24th, starting at 3pm. Officials with the Foundation say all Dodge County residents are encouraged to attend. They say that the atmosphere will be fun, relaxed, and focused on the positive happenings in the area.
The first 200 pours will receive a free Foundation cup. Staff with the organization will also be on-site to meet with community members and discuss how the Foundation supports area needs.
There will also be live music by Jay Wildner from 3pm to 6pm and Too Sick Charlie from 6:30 to 9pm. One dollar from every Ooga beer pour and all tips given to Jay Wildner will be donated back to the Foundation.
All money raised at the event benefits the Foundation’s bi-annual grant cycles. The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation has handed out roughly $94-thousand-dollars in grants to over 33 local nonprofits in Beaver Dam.
