(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation has awarded a record-breaking amount in grants to local nonprofits. The organization has gifted $46,500 through the first of two grant cycles available this year.
Officials with the foundation say grant recipients are Dodge County nonprofits that provide a wide range of services, including community, human services, youth, education, healthcare, arts and culture. Grants are funded by the Community Fund, which supports the activities and projects of charitable agencies that improve the quality of life of Dodge County residents.
The Foundation opens two grant cycles per year, in spring and fall, to provide project and program-based funding to nonprofit organizations benefiting the communities and people of Dodge County. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $200,000 in grants through the bi-annual grant cycles.

- Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association – $1,500
- Beaver Dam Pickleball Committee – $1,000
- Bo William Hartwig Foundation – $1,000
- Bridges of Dodge County – $2,000
- Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee – $1,000
- Central Wisconsin Community Action Council/New Beginnings Homeless Shelter – $2,000
- Church Health Services – $2,500
- City of Beaver Dam Community Library – $500
- Community Care Preschool and Child Care – $2,000
- Community Support Center – $500
- Dodge County Center for the Arts – $1,500
- Dodge County Concert Association – $1,000
- Dodge County Conservation KAMO – $1,000
- Dodge County Fair Association – $1,500
- Dodge County Historical Society – $500
- Edgewood Community Church – $1,000
- First Lutheran Church- Loaves & Fishes – $2,500
