Beaver Dam Post 146 White Construction blanked Bonduel 5-0 on Monday night in New London and will have a chance to earn their 7th state title in program history at the AA State American Legion Baseball Tournament on Tuesday night.
Post 146 scored a pair of runs in the 1st as Carson Franke drove in Jeff Freund on a triple to right center, then scored on a Zach Schave single to left. In the 2nd Beaver Dam added two more as Eli Johnson rode home on a Moose Morrissey triple to center. Morrissey scored on a Kellin Schmuhl sac bunt. Beaver Dam added an insurance run as Bradley Wendorf tripled and then scored on a wild-pitch.
On the hill, Jerek Westover struck out a pair in two scoreless innings, then handed it off to Isaiah Yuenger, would gave up just two hits in five scoreless innings.
Beaver Dam (18-5) will face Seymour at 5:30pm on Tuesday night. The winner will face Campbellsport at 8pm for the AA American Legion State Championship.
