The Beaver Dam Post 146 American Legion baseball team saw their season come to an end with an 8-0 defeat at the hands of Seymour at the 19U AA State Tournament in West Salem on Monday. Seymour scored a pair of runs in the 3rd and 4th innings, then added a three spot in the 6th and one more in the 7th. Post 146 musted just four hits against Seymour’s Xavier Salzman, who struck out four and gave up just four hits in the complete game win.
Beaver Dam’s season ends at 19-6 while Seymour will need to pick up one win in two games against Medford on Tuesday to claim the AA State Title.
