BD High School Bowlers Get Back Into Action

The high school bowling team in Beaver Dam finally got back on the lanes this past Sunday. The boys team came away with 2 victories on Sunday against Columbus/Fall River and Watertown/Lomira girls teams. The wins improved their season record to 3-1. The boys will look to get back at it this Sunday at Tower Lanes at 10am with a huge match against Fort Atkinson. A win against Fort Atkinson would propel the boys to the District 6 – Division 2 standings.

The girls team was at it on Sunday bowling their 3rd week of matches this season. They came out of the day 1-1 beating Horicon 5.5-3.5 for the match win. They dropped their send match to Columbus/Fall River 6.5-1.5. Beaver Dam is currently sitting atop the District 6 – Division 2 standings with a 5-1 record. They will get back at it on January 3rd at Tower Lanes with 10am with matches against the Oakfield boys and girls teams respectively.

The JV had its first season action last Sunday as well. They held their own defeating Lomira 11 games to 5. After week 1 they sit in third place in the District 6 JV standings. They will get back at it this Sunday at Tower Lanes at 10am with a pair of seven game matches against Lakeside Lutheran.
