The Beaver Dam High School football team heads to Mount Horeb on Friday night in a game you can watch on DailyDodge TV and hear on 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam.
The Golden Beavers (2-0) blew out Fort Atkinson 48-21 and Baraboo 35-7 at Derleth Field to open the season while Mount Horeb (2-0) took down Baldwin-Woodville 58-39 and Monroe 39-7. They are ranked #10 in the ESPN Wisconsin Large Schools High School Football Poll and #3 in the Wissports.net Division Three Coaches Poll.
These teams last met on April 16th 2021 during the alternate springs season. BD picked up a 26-19 win at Derleth Field. Carter Riesen threw for 223 yards and a TD and also ran for a TD to lead the Golden Beavers offense. Tyler Buechner ran for 121 yards and two scores for Mount Horeb.
