The Beaver Dam boys basketball team hung with the #1 ranked team in Minnesota 2A high school basketball before falling 79-57 at the Lewiston Auto Holiday Classic on the campus of Winona State University. The game was tied at 27 when the 1st half came to an end but a 19-3 run by the Blue Jay to start the 2nd half spelled doom for the Golden Beavers. Junior Nate Abel led three Golden Beavers in double figures with 20. Broden Boschert buried four three pointers on his way to 17 points while Ty Bunkoske added 13 in the loss.  Beaver Dam (2-7) will jump back into Badger North Conference play on January 4th when they host Sauk Prairie. You can watch live video of that game at DailyDodge.com presented by Columbus Family Dental and QBS Law.
