(Ashippun) A barn was damaged by fire in Ashippun Tuesday. Crews were called to the 1100 block of Coolidge Road shortly before 1pm. Additional resources were called in once firefighters arrived on scene, including the need for water to be brought to the rural location.
All occupants were safely evacuated from the residence with the support of a few neighbors and Dodge County Sheriff Department deputies prior to fire and EMS arrival. Due to the extensive damage, an excavator was called in to help with overhaul and extinguishment. All units were clear of the scene by 4:30pm.
