(Beaver Dam) Authorities are still on the lookout for a missing teen from Beaver Dam. An arrest warrant has been issued for 40-year-old Gary Day of Arkansas, who is believed to be traveling with 16-year-old Sophia Martin Franklin.
Court records show the man is facing two felony counts of Child Enticement and three counts of Child Abduction. Beaver Dam Police Lieutenant Jeremiah Johnson says law enforcement are still seeking tips.
“If you are in, let’s say for instance, the state of Illinois to the south of us, and you saw a couple come in, and they got a hotel room, and they match the description of the people that are in those pictures,” says Johnson. “Even if their hair was altered. Maybe they were wearing dark sunglasses, hoods.”
The lieutenant asks the public to be on the lookout for a black 2014 Buick La Crosse with different license plates. Anyone with information is asked to call the Beaver Dam Police Department at 888-304-3936.
