Authorities Identify The Two People Killed Following Head-On Collision In Oak Grove

(Oak Grove) Authorities have identified the two people killed in a head-on collision in the Town of Oak Gove Thursday night. The crash was discovered when a Dodge County Sheriff’s deputy came up to the scene on County Highway W near Hillcrest Road around 9pm. The initial investigation showed that a Chevy Cobalt was traveling eastbound on County Highway W and collided head-on with a Chevy Silverado traveling westbound. The Cobalt was driven by 22-year-old Ryan Wehrmann from Juneau who was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 24-year-old Tegan Strook from Juneau, was also pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Silverado, 21-year-old Blake Haines from Fox Lake, was transported to Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam by Juneau EMS and Beaver Dam paramedics. He was then taken to UW Hospital in Madison by Med Flight with serious injuries. The crash is being investigated by both the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
