Authorities Identify The Two People Killed Near Fort Atkinson, Possible Suspect Still At Large

(Fort Atkinson) Authorities have identified the two people found dead near Fort Atkinson earlier this week. Jefferson County deputies were dispatched to a burglary report Tuesday evening on County Road A. Upon arrival, two people were found lying in the driveway who were later determined to be dead. The deceased have been identified as 57-year-old Nedra Lemke and 59-year-old James Lemke. The Jefferson County Medical Examiner says gunshot wounds are the cause of death for both individuals. As authorities were investigating the scene, shots were fired from the residence. A deputy then noticed black smoke coming from the residence before flames reportedly swept through the residence. Law enforcement is looking for 68-year-old Kevin Anderson of Fort Atkinson as a possible suspect. He is described as a white male, six-feet tall, 200 pounds, with blue eyes and balding brown hair. If located, people are asked to not approach but contact the authorities immediately. At this time, law enforcement believes the incident was targeted and not a random act. The Wisconsin Department of Justice and State Fire Marshal are leading the investigation.
