(Beaver Dam) Auditions for the Beaver Dam Area Community Theater’s Annual Tell-A-Tale summer show are approaching.
Auditions for Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr. take place on Sunday, May 19, from 5-7pm and Tuesday, May 21, from 4-7pm. Any student in grades 3-5 is invited to audition, with auditioners being asked to sing a short 30-60 second song of their choice and to read a scene from the show with other auditioners on stage.
Show director Andy Estervig says that musical features many speaking and singing roles.
“The great thing about this show is there’s a lot of parts. There’s [I think] 32 speaking parts and there’s about that many singing parts that have a solo. But that means a lot of people get to participate in it.”
Finding Nemo Jr. will take place at the Kamps Auditorium from July 10-July 13, tickets are $5 for youth 12 and under, $10 for adults.
