(GREEN BAY) Some area nonprofits are getting some money from the Green Bay Packers. The team’s foundation announced its annual grants this week. The team is giving $1.5 million to 395 civic and charitable groups throughout Wisconsin.
Three groups from Dodge County are getting grants from the Packers’ foundation. They are the Dodge County Humane Society, Playground Movement – Beaver Dam, and UnMasked Expressive Therapies.
This year’s grant cycle focused on animal welfare, health and wellness, including drug, alcohol and domestic violence, civic and community initiatives, and environmental causes.
