Annual FallFest At Harnischfeger Park Is Saturday

(Ixonia) The 17th Annual FallFest at Harnischfeger Park is this Saturday. Held rain or shine, the public is encouraged to head out early for a pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage as well as a home baked goods sale. Other activities include pulled wagon rides to shuttle attendees to all the events happening across the 132-acre park.

There will also be mini golf, demonstrations, exhibits, and games. A number of different items from local businesses will be part of the silent auction and bucket raffle. Beaver Dam Mayor Becky Glewen says those interested in learning more can go online to Discover Dodge County’s Facebook page.

“I just want people to know that…to maybe go on Facebook and look at Discover Dodge…that’s tourism that they’re working on in the county as well and how we again can work together regionally to bring good things for all of our communities,” says Glewen. “I look forward to seeing everyone at FallFest.”

Harnischfeger Park’s FallFest will take place from 8am to 4pm. Concessions will be available starting at 10:30am. The event is put on by the all-volunteer group the Friends of Harnischfeger Park, which is a committee of the Friends of Dodge County Parks. All proceeds raised go directly back into improving the park located at 3048 Crawfish Road in Ixonia.
