(Wisconsin) In its first Community Grant cycle of the year, Alliant Energy and the Alliant Energy Foundation awarded over $715,000 to various causes and nonprofits across Wisconsin and Iowa.
Alliant Energy Foundation Executive Director Andy Kitslaar says the passion Alliant Energy has for customers can be seen directly through the work of their Foundation and they are thrilled to provide 158 organizations with support so far this year.
All Community Grant recipients seek to make an impact in Alliant Energy’s four focus areas: Community safety and engagement, environmental stewardship, workforce readiness and hunger and housing.
