Alice In Dairyland Applications Being Accepted

(Beaver Dam) The state’s Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection are taking applications for the 71st Alice in Dairyland competition.  Alice in Dairyland educates Wisconsin children and adults about the value, economic impact and future of the state’s $88 billion agricultural industry. Applications can be submitted through February 1st. To apply, submit an application form, cover letter, resume, three professional references and summary of qualifications. Application materials are available online.  The winner will be selected during the Alice competition in Adams County in May. The Dodge County-area’s most recent connection to Alice in Dairyland was in 2010. Christine Lindner of Fall River, who grew up on her family’s farm just outside of Beaver Dam, was the state’s 63rd Alice.
