Air Quality Advisory Extended Due To Canadian Wildfire Smoke

(WISCONSIN) Unhealthy air levels could continue into the weekend due to the Canadian wildfire smoke. An air quality advisory has been extended until noon Friday, but DNR officials say that could persist into the weekend.

They say conditions will be reevaluated on a day-to-day basis over the next several days, including updates to the forecast and any associated air quality advisories.

People with heart or lung disease, older adults, and children should consider making outdoor activities shorter and less intense. The public should also consider rescheduling or moving events indoors.
