ADRC of Dodge County Highlights Brain Health Curriculum

(Juneau) Officials with the Aging and Resource Center of Dodge County are highlighting new curriculum for brain health. The program from the Department of Public Instruction, Advocacy for Self and Others: Brain Health, was created and designed for middle and high school students. It pairs the skill of advocacy with brain health, dementia, and prevention of brain injury. Students will learn about brain health and lead an advocacy campaign in their schools and communities.

Designed for everyday educators, the curriculum can be used in schools as well as other settings. Those interested, in the free program, can contact Robert Griesel at the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dodge County [920-386-4308]. Contact details can be found at DailyDodge.com.
