(Dodge County) The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dodge County recently hosted a dinner recognizing those who help the organization with their volunteer efforts at Old Hickory Golf Course.
The 2024 ADRC Volunteer Dinner, which was themed ‘Volunteers are Utterly Fantastic,’ featured presentations from the current Alice in Dairyland, Ashley Hagenow, and Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese LLC Founder, Charles Crave.
Jackie DeLaRosa, an Aging, Nutrition and Transportation supervisor, explained that it’s reaffirming to see so many volunteers be recognized for their work.
“This kind of brings everyone together, and it builds that sense of community even more,” DeLaRosa said. “It shows [the volunteers] that it truly does take a village to run this program.”
After the presentations, dinner, and dessert, those who attended were entered into a raffle featuring gift baskets and prize items from area retailers.
