(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 4,280 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’s daily update. There are 58,119 active cases in the state, an increase of 204 from Saturday. Active cases make up 21.7-percent of the 267-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 206-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 11 deaths, brining that total to 2,312. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.8-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 238-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 43 deaths on record and 5,738 cases, an increase of 139 from Saturday.
The county had 226 negative tests returned for a running total of 30,176.
Washington County has experienced 50 deaths and 5,856 cases.
Fond du Lac County has 6,110 positive tests on record and 25 deaths.
Jefferson County has now reported 26 deaths and 3,541 cases to date.
There have been nine deaths in Columbia County where there have been 2,269 total cases.
Green Lake County has four deaths and has 914 cases on record.
