(FOND DU LAC) A Fond du Lac company is closing at the end of October. The owners of Action Printing notified the state last week that they’re closing the business at the end of the month, throwing 44 people out of work.
The company printed magazines, catalogs, books, and educational materials there since 1973.
The layoffs began last month, and will continue through the end of October. The company says employees will be paid all earned wages and agreed-upon benefits at the time they’re let go. SOQ
