Abuse Suspect Stabbed By Victims Daughter, Again

A Fond du Lac man is facing three criminal charges, after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman but was stabbed by the girl’s daughter before he could do so. 27-year-old Jason Fields was in jail at last word under a five-thousand-dollar bond. Police said they were called to the woman’s house early Sunday after Fields jumped on her car and broke her windshield. Officers said they left after Fields paid for the damage and agreed to stay away. But prosecutors said he returned, strangled the woman, and held a knife to her throat. During the incident, police said her nine-year-old daughter stabbed Fields in the back with a kitchen knife – and he groaned and dropped his knife right after that. Police quoted the girl as saying she had also stabbed Fields in a leg two years earlier, when he hurt her mother at that time.
