The Beaver Dam Wildfire girls youth hockey wrapped up their season with three tournament championships.
The Beaver Dam 14U Wildfire girls youth hockey team won the Eagle River Invitational over the past weekend.
“The families would like to Thank coach Erik Smedema for his dedication to the Wildfire program over the past eight years. Erik was one of the original girls youth hockey coaches when BDHA started offering an all-girls program. In the program’s infancy, Erik would offer the girls ice cream as an incentive for shots on goal. Erik helped coach the team to 9 state tournament appearances with 6 state titles.
