(DODGE COUNTY) Some children in the Dodge County area are going to sleep without a bed of their own. A volunteer group is working to change that.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace – WI, Fond du Lac is a nonprofit organization that builds and delivers free twin-size beds to children ages 3 to 17 who do not have a bed.
The group serves families in Fond du Lac County and parts of Dodge County, making sure children have a safe and comfortable place to sleep.
Organizers say the application process is simple. There are no minimum income requirements, no complicated paperwork and no cost to families.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a nationwide organization with more than 300 chapters across four countries. But volunteers say the mission starts at the local level — helping neighbors in need.
