(BEAVER DAM) In order to inform voters about the candidates and issues in the upcoming April 7 spring election, the Beaver Dam Chamber and Visitor Center and Good Karma Brands, the parent company of WBEV and Daily Dodge, are sponsoring a spring candidates forum at the American Legion/Veterans Center at 300 Beichl Ave. on March 5 at 7 p.m.
The following candidates are scheduled to appear:
Beaver Dam Common Council:
Julie Wendt and incumbent Joe Bonnett in District 8
Paul Toellner and incumbent Zach Zopp in District 12
Beaver Dam Unified School District Board of Education:
Incumbents: Joanne Tyjeski, Lisa Panzer, and Maria Mason.
Challengers: Emily Shier and Steve Rydzewski.
Dodge County Board of Supervisors, District 31
Steve Rydzewski and incumbent Kevin Burnett
The forum is free of charge and open to the public. The forum is intended to provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates in a fair and structured setting.
