Dodge County Health Officials Record Over 230 New COVID Cases Since Last Wednesday

(Beaver Dam) Dodge County health officials reported 237 positive tests since last Wednesday in their update Monday. There were six additional hospitalizations bringing that number since the pandemic begin to 1,109. Active community cases stand at 1,007. The total death count is 239 with 210 confirmed and 29 probable deaths. The seven-day daily average of new cases per 100-thousand people is 58.8. Twenty-five cases and above is what health officials classify as the “tipping point.” Dodge County has now moved into the “critically high” level for COVID activity, according to the state health department. Washington County is also in the same level. So far, 48.3-percent of Dodge County residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine while 46.2-percent have completed the vaccination series.
