$500K Bond Set For Homeless Fond Du Lac Man Charged With Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide

(Fond du Lac) Cash bond was set $500,000 for a homeless Fond du Lac man suspected of shooting another person in the parking lot of a Family Dollar. Christopher Bell is facing numerous felony charges including Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide, First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and multiple counts of Bail Jumping.

The shooting happened on August 27th. Police say an argument at the store between Bell and a group of people the day before was a catalyst for the incident. The 21-year-old ran into the same group again the following night and reportedly fired at two vehicleโ€™s, striking a Fond du Lac woman. She was treated for non-life threatening injuries at St. Agnes Hospital.

Two police officers on patrol witnessed the shooting. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 11th.
