(BEAVER DAM) Families in Beaver Dam can sign up for 4-year-old kindergarten starting today.
Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year runs Feb. 25 through Feb. 27 at the Beaver Dam Unified School District Educational Service Center, 400 E. Burnett St.
“It’s a great time and everybody should be planning ahead,” Superintendent Mark DiStefano said. He said the district is hopeful for another strong year of enrollment and recently added a new full-day 4K section to meet demand.
Prairie View Elementary will now offer a full-day 4K option alongside Jefferson Elementary. The district also offers several half-day morning and afternoon sections through its community 4K program in partnership with local childcare sites.
Enrollment is by appointment:
Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 7 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 26 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 27 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
No appointment is needed Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Parents can call (920) 885-7300 ext. 1502 to schedule a time.
Children who turn 4 on or before Sept. 1, 2026, are eligible for 4K.
Families should bring completed enrollment forms, the child’s original birth certificate, immunization records, two proofs of residency and a $30 materials fee.
The district determines site placements. Children already attending a childcare center that offers 4K may qualify for legacy registration if completed by March 14, 2026.
