(Dodge County) Dodge County vehicle sales last year were up when compared to 2023.
According to statistics released by the Waterloo-based industry tracking firm Reg-Trak, Dodge County had 2,937 vehicle sales in 2024, up from the 2,804 reported the previous year, an increase of 4.74-percent. Car sales were down 4.3-percent while truck sales saw a jump of nearly six-percent.
In Columbia County, just over 26-hundred vehicles rolled off dealer lots through the end of December, an increase of 3.9-percent. Car sales were down two-percent while truck sales rose 4.5-percent.
Jefferson County vehicle sales were also above 26-hundred in 2024, a nearly two-percent improvement over the last 12-month cycle. Car sales did fall 11-percent while truck sales jumped by 3.6-percent.
For the nine-county south central Wisconsin region as a whole, there were nearly 44-thousand vehicle sales in 2024, a 4.4-percent increase. Car sales were down 8.5-percent while truck sales saw a 6.6-percent improvement.
