For the 2nd year in a row, Marshall junior Anna Lutz has been named the Capitol South Conference Girls Basketball Player of the Year. The UW-Milwaukee recruit led the league in scoring a 23 points per game and was 2nd in rebounding at just under 10 per contest. Lutz’s teammate Laura Nickel was also named to the 1st team after averaging 16 points per game her junior season. Fellow Cardinal junior Maya Andrews was a 2nd team choice while sophomore teammate Abby Ward was an Honorable Mention pick.
Waterloo juniors Brooke Mosher and Skyler Powers, along with freshman Julia Asik were all named Honorable Mention All-Captiol South.
