(BEAVER DAM) Beaver Dam got 11 inches of snow in a storm that hit the Midwest Friday night into Sunday morning. That’s according to the National Weather Service. Columbus got almost ten inches, Horicon got 4.5 inches, Ripon got seven inches, Theresa got nine inches, Watertown got six inches, and Waupun got 9.3 inches.
Part of Highway 60 near Neosho had to be closed for a time after a vehicle crash. Daily Dodge has not received any reports of major crashes, injuries, or power outages. Several area churches canceled Sunday services to be on the safe side. Patchy blowing and drifting snow kept driving conditions difficult well into Sunday, which is one of the busiest travel days of the year.
